Music of the Grey Storm

April 1, 2007

while driving down the rugged path rolling below the blue sky
white clouds trying to hide the harmful rays of sunshine

the trees rumble away in a wavy form up and down
leaves reflect the mood pristine, the bark supports the life brown

driving by the waves white, I sensed a strange calmness within
the turbulence did not touch me, nor did the cliffy shin

a sudden ‘music’ blasted on above the wavy path
huge black smokey storm came at me like a dart

the beautiful earthy smell I loved changed into a tint
of foul sulphide mist in front it did a glint

the grey storm up above came from a giant pillar
of chimney as the bourgeoisie got made by Mr. Miller

a man known for esteemed work in crafts
of dealing with huge structures of maintaining copyrighted drafts

he made this factory with lots of time and sweat
and got awarded himself the best builder for increasing life’s threat

he brought about a revolution for developing the country’s frill
but what about our family and their health without a giant bill

what is this, oh lady, help the world understand
that we do not need industries to feel real grand

what we need is space, a little in our hearts
and minds of great thinkers could ask for the starts

may each life be worthy of its existence in this mess
my lovely earth I hope you can resist more stress

Thank you… the inspiration is right in front of us… the environment… it’s getting polluted day by day… so much so that when we go out of our homes we have to face the darty smoke in all forms…
what bigger inspiration do we need?
    Anyways…. thanks for your comment…
I will surely try and get hold of the book (don’t know from where though… but I’ll try)….and read it 🙂
