Lyrics –

dhadkane khaamosh hain, kuch kehti nahi
yeh aakhari alvida na ho
chaahate aankhon se behti nahi
yeh aakhari alvida na ho
iss dard dil mein, dil mein rehne do
jo khauf hai aankhon se, aankhon se kehne do
dukh ki nadi chup chaap behne do
jo kehna hai tum dheere se keh do
yeh aakhari alvida na ho

dhadkane khaamosh hain, kuch kehti nahi
yeh aakhari alvida na ho

sab yaadein, jo baandhe the bandhan
kaajal, bindiya, haathon mein kangan
mehki rehti thi menhdi
gaata rehta tha saawan
inn yaadon ko sapno mein rehne do
yeh aakhari alvida na ho

aakhari alvida na ho
dhadkane khaamosh hai, kuch kehti nahi
yeh aakhari alvida na ho
chaahate aankhon se behti rahi
yeh aakhari alvida na ho – 2

    Hi to all
gr8 song sang by string……i love rock and metal music…..but in string’s music i always find lil bit of Rock kinda touch…..it doesnt matter if he ripped it off from greenday or coldplay….but what important is that they played gr8…even himesh reshmiya cud make rock…but that wub be himesh nasel version of the music…..mostely heard by the ppl like chaiwala and bidiwalas…..once again gr8 song by string

Here’s my attempt at just the first verse

I’m going to take a few liberties and rather than a literal translation, try my hand at an ENGLISH understanding

Stilled heartbeats and not a word is being uttered,
This shouldn’t be the last goodbye offered
Dreams should pour forth from your eyes,
this shouldn’t be the last of our goodbyes!
The heartaches, in the heart have come to reside
the sighs in your eyes, your eyes cannot confide
You have streamed down the river of sadness, quietly
If you have to say it, say it leisurely
This shouldn’t be the last Goodbye!

Stilled heartbeats and not a word is being uttered,
This shouldn’t be the last goodbye offered

All those memories, all those binding relations,
Kajal, Bindis, hands adorned with those bangles,
the scents of mehndi that lingered on
As we sang those sweet songs
Cherish these memories in your dreams
This Shouldn’t be the last goodbye, it seems!

well the english translation is not actully correct…
here is how it goes…(the whole song)

Don’t let this be the last goodbye…

My heartbeat is silent, it doesn’t say anything…
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…
‘Want’ doesn’t pour out of eyes
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…
Let the heart ache in the heart reside there…
Let the eyes show the fear in eyes…
Let the river of sadness flow quietly…
Tell slowly whatever you want to say
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…

My heartbeat is silent, it doesn’t say anything…
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…

All the memories, which ties all the relations…
Eyeliners, Bindiya, Bangles around the hands
The scent of the mehendi (henna) lingers around…
The seasons use to sing out…
Let me remain in the memories of my dream…
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…

Don’t let it be the last goodbye…
My heartbeat is silent, it doesn’t say anything…
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…
‘Want’ doesn’t pour out of eyes
Don’t let this be the last goodbye…

    -enjoy-
